Thread: Would you buy a game with no trophies?

      the idea of trophies is good but has got a bit stupid they should be about how good you are on the game not how long you can spend hunting round for a hidden object as that is a bit lame, all it shows is you have a lot of time on your hands. Like in nfs shift you get trophies for crashes and such which isnt what racing is about really. Trophies for reaching certain levels of the game is what it is about

      trophies are s**t, dont see the point in them, would buy any game without them

      Ok Chaps, Im going to blow against the flow on this one.

      I DO like trophies, they inspire me to push through the often present pain barrier with a new game, there are games that I know I would not have given more than the 1st level that have turned out to be classics or at least I have enjoyed them.

      Ive becomme a bit of a whore for the shiney shiney, picking up older games cheap with the trophies in mind, but that said, to answer the original question. If a game didnt have trophies it would not stop me buying it, it may reduce how much i play it, and would certainly stop me picking it up cheap to give it a try once it hits the bargain bucket.
