I have my psp 3000, Since downloading C&C retalliation for it, Ive played it non stop. Whereas before it rarely got touched. I was very annoyed that the formware v6.00 ruined the sound/music playback, but the game still plays so I still play it. Also on the note of firmware the d/l copy on my ps3 doesnt work no more either but i have the original ps1 discs so I can still play it on ps3 too.
Back to the psp I want to get Motorstorm Arctic edge as ever since rumours of PR began way back when, on the ps forums, I said I'd love to see ice levels. Arctic edge looks fantastic and from what Ive heard is fantastic, but I have a dilemma. Which version is better? do I go for the psp version, or do I get the ps2 version? Yes I still do have my slimline ps2 hooked up.
I've got Arctic Edge on the PSP and its awesome, only critisim is that you really need to know the courses literally blindfolled becuase its runs so quick and white on the small screen, it gets very very hard later on, and playing online was awesome but not many people play it now. Maybe a TRE get together on infrustructure, or adhoc party with mics? But overall, its pure Motorstorm on the PSP in its feel and everything else.
In fact I've been playing GTpsp, Motorstorm, Outrun C2C and Wipeput Pulse alot this week as I've been away on my hols (and away from the PS3) and its reminded me how much fun the PSP can be.

I have Motorstorm on psp and wow its amazing. It is like the original in its track design they are quite open, with not so much liitter, like hidden tree stumps or fences and posts in the way etc on PR, but they are tight and technical and they do have lots of places to catch you out. Some of the easier levels are not always suited to certain types of vehicles so you need to know the lines whereas the tougher tracks are insane, with the blizzards and even avavlanches that you can cause by sounding your horn in the right place its gets very tough to see whats in front of you. All tracks are reversable apparently, you can add your own mp3s to the already awesome soundtrack and you can customise every vehicle from cetrain bady parts to paint colours and sponsor stickers to make your own unique styles.
Highly recommened for all psp owners who love racing games.
I know, its awesome on the PSP, as well as GT, Coling Mcrae, Wipeout and Outrun. Re Motorstorm, I didn't know you could also use your own customised music on Motorstorm AE?.....off to check...
PS Since the recent updates for PSP Go media, I can't seem to get new music to work on GT PSP becuase it keeps putting them in their own folders. Previous tracks are working fine, might have to link it up to the laptop to see if I can sort the new folders thing...
